The Effects of Sleep on the Brain
When we're asleep our brain does several things one of them is it gets rid of all of the useless stuff that it stored. It also fortifies whatever you set up for the day the thing that impacted you emotionally during the day. So what you're doing is through your unconscious mind you're programming your conscious mind to think a certain way more often.
