The Black Pill is that you can never gain these stories back once they are gone. Once Rome fell, it could not become pagan again. That era of history was finished. It had to go towards something radically new, which was Christianity. There had to be a new vision for what reality was. Now, we might be in the same situation. Perhaps even Christianity is over and we must go towards a new vision. And how are we going to attain that? That is a very scary and difficult thing. This is why we look towards visionaries.
