The law is supposed to guide our individual actions, whether as a person. I am supposed to have clarity that if I do this, this is the consequence. Why is it that we need a data protection law? It's not as if the world is coming to a halt in the absence of this law. We need this law because every day, even as you and I sit and speak on this, somebody is collecting our data.
