Experience Matters in Contemporary Evangelicalism, Right?
Beth Felker Jones comes to us from Wheaton College, the Bastion. You can tell Beth is a theologian because the way she speaks, you speak like a theologian. I think it's the genius of evangelicalism but also our Achilles heel in lots of ways when somebody's experience becomes normative for everybody's experience. Or when experience that seems pretty clearly the contradict scripture is elevated as truth.
