Oral Health Literacy in Communities That Need It
Merry otto: I ran the health department in detroit. One of the pieces of the department that i appreciated most was we ran ta dental clinic for children, a mainly medicate eligible children. And one of the things i came to is that there is an almost self reinforcing spiral of sorts when people are under cared for. She says too many people in our society go without basic services. Merry Otto: We miss that right every day because we don't necessarily pay attention until it's disastrous like a child dying of a preventable tooth infection.
