The Disparity Between Abu Ghrairah and the Prophet
Abu Ghrairah lived on for 48 years after the process of collecting hadiths. That's eight to nine times less than what it's made out to be, he says. He was hearing 0.6 hadith per day; a little kid could memorize 5 in 3 years or 4 years. Abu Ghrairh also learned from other senior companions of the Prophet.
