Tolkien and the Narnia Stories

Tolkien was one of Lewis's biggest critics at the time that he wrote the Narnia stories. Tolkien didn't like them all that much and thought they were a bit of a jumble of mythologies. He also it's fair to say that if you read Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit and so on there's not nearly as obvious a sort of you know this subtext of Christianity now certainly I'm not sure his Christian worldview informed the way he wrote but you don't get nearly the same symbolism in those books do you from Tolkien?
