These are problems that are not going to be solved overnight. Our challenges are going to take five to 10 or 15 years to solve. Some of them will never be solved. We'll simply make progress on them. But if the only challenges we're tackling in our day to day work have short term horizons one year, two year, three years, we's short changing our collective future. The challenges are so big that we have to learn how to step out of that short-term mentality into what something bigger than me is worthy of my effort.
