Are We Going Forward? Is That Blasphemy?
I think Europeans do a little bit more world-weary than you guys. But hey, I've heard a lot of people in England who are still especially toward the more comfortable end of the social pyramid,. No, we are going forward. We are not going back. And so, but the faith in progress hasn't changed at all. They've just redefined progress so they can keep believing in it. The idea that history follows cycles, that there's an up and a down, that's blasphemy to them. That's the uttermost blasphemous apostasy even though it's what history tells us.
