Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis and PEP Against HIV

Post-exposure prophylaxis, PEP, has been around for 30 some odd years now. It's really the principle if especially a healthcare worker or someone else gets exposed to a large volume of HIV in the workplace. If we give it soon enough after that accident or incident, we can actually prevent HIV from being incorporated into the body and setting up its life cycle.
