Dug's Journey Through the Himalayas
Dug and his company of men have to walk through the desert, it was also uphill the area with the nomads that was around 98 hundred feet above sea level. As they got higher the months further into the winter, conditions were worsening. Dug wrote in his journal that they had reached 16 thousand feet at one point. The wind was 50 to 70 miles an hour. They really struggled to see because of the snow blindness. Oxygen was incredibly thin, and so to conserve breath, they used hand signals or one word statements.
