Desmond Tutu's God of Surprises

The Truth and Reconciliation Commission met formally from 1995 to 1998. The commission investigated human rights violations by both architects and opponents of apartheid. Victims were invited to tell their stories and witness confessions. Many families came to know for the first time when and how their loved ones died.
