How to Use the Sound Wall to Help Your Students Read and Write
Short i and short e are very are very easily confused by students. If you start with short e if you say it's just a slight movement in their mouth so a word like let's do pen. My high readers really were interested in the sound wall this year because we don't get too much into schwa. They liked reading words that would have the sound in it for like treasure.
