Sleeping pills have been linked to an increased risk of a number of different forms of cancer. There is also evidence that though sleeping pills can leave you in a more immune deficient state, which in part may explain a greater vulnerability to things such as cancer. Do we have the causal evidence yet? No, we don't so we can't say for sure. These could bess ations. And i can bend that logic in the opposite way too. I could say we know that insufficient sleep is associated with a highe risk of certain types of cancer. But it's also those same people, as a consequence of that insufficient sleep, who then luoged sleeping pills. So
