The Importance of Safe Spaces for Debate

When you're discussing difficult, divisive topics, there should be safe spaces for that too. We don't tell students to actually look at the evidence, present that evidence to them. And I agree with you, every viewpoint, as long as it's respectful, right? But as long as you're having a civil conversation where you can disagree agreeably, that should be welcome.
