The Origin of Modern Politics
Author Hannah Arrent blames hobbs for some of what has gone wrong with modern politics. She says his calculating, rationalistic conception of politics had reduced the human condition. But she also thinks that there was something worth rescuing in what came before the modern state. The book i'm talking about to day is called 'Hobbs' and it's published by Simon & Schuster.
