The Queen of the Sciences
He regards mathematics as the queen of the sciences. He goes back to a proposition which was, in a sense, a old clerical platitude. Only he who makes a thing can truly understand it. But you, who have not made the world, do not understand what the world is. You must simply take it for granted. The whole thing, in a certain sense, is a game. It's a form of play with s which, if you play according to the rules correctly, you will arrive at the conclusions which anyone else playing by the same rules will arrive at.
