The Importance of Leaving Breadcrumbs in Mistborn

The concept of having a character survive death or come back from death was another thing that Brandon was really worried about because it can obviously be kind of comic book really out of hand. And he says that he specifically tried to leave breadcrumbs within the main trilogy so that if he ever did tell this story like it would make sense and it wouldn't be contrived. There are definitely moments now rereading Mistborn where you can see these things.
