Introduction

Moses told the people of israel that they should keep the passover. They kept it in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight. But there were certain men who were unclean through touching a dead body so that they could not keep the pass over. We might perhaps connect this delay in the beginning of the year with the various periods of cleansing or preparation for testing we find in scripture. For instance, 14 days prior to leaving ark may be considered as 'cleansing' The Lord spoke to moses saying, if any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touched a dead body, or is on a long journey,
