The Life and Times of Terry's Bar

In 1968, New York Magazine went out to the most popular bar in Astoria, Queens. Terry's Bar was full of pipe fidders and iron workers who were all Democrats up until then. And these guys all felt like nobodies until Richard Nixon gave them a voice where they could rehearse again.
