The Evil Eye Is Very Widespread

The belief in the evil eye is very widespread, but different for different cultures. In italy there's a horn shaped object that you buy and hen wear to distract some one's evil eye away from you. A diagnostic procedure involving getting a small bowl of water and dropping olive oil on top can also ward off an illness. The idea is that if we can just distract the evil eye, or, in the case of these, a jewelry items actually reflect the evil eye backat at the perpetrator.
