The Language Model in the Game of Diplomacy?
We pre-trained the language model on tons of internet data as much as possible. And then we fine-tuned it specifically on the diplomacy games. We are able to leverage the wider data set in order to fill in some of the gaps in how communication happens more broadly besides just specifically in these diplomacy games. The approaches that we've used in diplomacy and tried them on a cooperative card game called Tanabi.
