Lacunar Strokes - Is Psilososol an Effective Treatment?
Lacunes are an important subset of stroke and make up around a quarter of all the skin strokes but we still don't have targeted therapies for them. A study published in 2019 in Lancet Neurology showed that adding psilososol at the dose of 100 milligram twice per day to either aspirin or clopitrolica reduces the annual incidence of recurrent skimmick stroke by half compared to monotherapy. There's even some evidence that it can actually improve cholesterol profiles and increase cerebral blood flow. It has vasodilatory properties, it has the ability to prevent entomol hyperplasia and inhibit the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells.
