It’s been a while since we last had a He Said/She Said episode, and I think it’s best to start off by explaining why. What started with a quick trip away from our home due to riots that hit uncomfortably close to home ended with an unexpected tragedy in the family, which led to seven weeks away from home. Despite how painful it was, there is a certain blessing that comes with the change in perspective that this situation caused, and that’s what we’re here to talk about.
