The World Cannot Operate Without Fossil Fuels
T. Boone Pickens lost $2 billion when his wind farm was not connected to the rest of Texas's electrical grid. He believed we were running out of fossil fuels, so he ordered 667 1.5 megawatt turbines from General Electric in 2008. The investment into solar and wind is so economically ridiculous that only people who would fund it are governments. And I think you're going to see a big shift in rhetoric, especially Democratic party around energy.
