Adam and his sister decided to kill a roach in their new house. The plan was that she would watch the bird while he vacuumed it up, then i'd free it out of the yard. But they didn't smell amoretto - which is how palmetto bugs are named. Adam wrote an apology letter to hattie for not knowing what had caused her so much pain. He writes: "I'm glad you're happy now"
