How to Fix an Integration Test

I'm that guy who I find incredible safety in unit tests, especially really well designed architecture. That's the island I want to stand on. But when I watch them run, it's a little scary because all of these windows are popping up. So they're just popping up really fast. How can this be safe? This is what's going on in my head, right?
