Emotions Are For, Right?
Sci-fi authors all assumed ais would be super logical and have no idea how to do emotions, right? Even back to like the 90s with data, data is like, I know everything, but I don't know how to feel. And in fact, before we developed any sort of strong intelligence, we have rudimentary emotions first. It's almost silly when you think about the way data is, cause it's like really data, you can't reason out that Troy would be upset when you said that thing. You're so much smarter than us at everything, but it's apparently emotions are just so hard.
