I think everybody did kind of cope in their own way. I was actually a little older than the characters in the book. So I was also away for whenever school was in session, then I was home for breaks. My dad lived three years; there are these like teeny tiny cases where people living longer than that live five or longer. And so you go every three months and you get a scan and he did some experimental drugs in between.
