Tipping Is Good for Restaurants

Tipping is a way of drawing in customers. It means that your up front prices are going to be lower, and then you extract more at the end of the transaction when it's awkward to pull out. In some fancy, high end restaurants, tipping is great for servers, but the argument is that it's less great for the back of house staffs,. o chefts or dishwashes. So as business in america, something between 20 and 60 % of servers incomes can be in tips.
