Introduction

This Developer's Life aims to show more of a human side of the technology industry. This week, we hear from two storytellers about their experiences as lifeguards and Microsoft developers. The first time I'd ever gotten fired, it was definitely the first time I've ever deserved it. And in a way thinking about the end somehow allows me to come to terms with the idea that what I'm doing is not really permanent at all.
