The Importance of Symbolic Monarchy
I don't think it really changes how the royal family operates or how he is as king. I think it gives us an indication of what his reign will be like. The fact that there are a lot more people from ethnic minorities inside, Westminster Abbey, than you might find in the average Western theatre on a Thursday night. One in five of the congregation were community workers, charity workers, rather than members of the House of Lords who read a tree piers.
