Is There a Hierarchy?

Hierarchies always come with some sort of justification. Sometimes it's just pretending that there is no hierarchy at all. In a pure capitalist workplace, the boss has overwhelming bargaining power because he owns the means of production. The worker's only option if he doesn't like something, is to give up his salary and leave. So they will never ever let that happen.
