More humans listened to WYNY than any other country radio station on the planet. The only thing WK2U did for country fans in New York was create ill will. In particular, I was reminded of this when a bunch of gimlet and podcast shows were canceled by Spotify. There's no more important resource for an audience-based medium than the audience you already have.
