Introduction
In the last century, the average global temperature has risen a couple of degrees fahrenheit. But it takes a lot of heat to warm a planet even one degree. And what about that heat? I find it ironic and just fascinating that we have been talking bout global warming for decades and not talking about heat. We're losing snow cover and sea ice as a result. Talk of global warming may soon include the terms heat wave, lucifer, ocean heat blob, duraco and fungle pathagan.
