When schools in new orleanss lower ninth ward began to intigrate in 19 60, white families swarmed to the still segregated saint bernard. When word got out that a black family was buying a home in a saintbernard subdivision, 13, david duke for senate, signs popped up around the house. Overnighta black pastor also had bricks thrown through his windows, and david duke ridden across the windshield of his car.
