How to Emulate the Voice of the Creator of a Show
When your job is a staff writer, your job is to emulate the voice of the creator. How much do you get to have your own voice heard? Some showrunners want that and some are going to get really pissed off if you write your own voice into it. I was very fortunate because we were allowed to put a little bit of ourselves into each episode.
