The Dog Isn't Practicing the Problem Behavior

One year. So for one year, the dog has not practiced the problematic behaviors of ludging at people, dogs, cars, whatever. At other points, it's in a forested area. And it's all from an outsider's perspective, it's fine. This is no problem. They can stop, talk to people if they want, solve it.
