Humanoid robots are like a giant vanity project for humanity. 99% of the useful things that don't put people out of jobs, do not need a humanoid human-like android body. If you want a driveless car, it would be absurd to build a humanoid robot and get it to get into the car. Could we end up creating something that is intelligent or conscious?
