The Importance of Awareness

There are lots of different therapeutic approaches, but what is probably the most common amongst all of them is the importance of awareness. One of the ways in which I would work is almost starting off with noticing what is happening in your body. Because sometimes that can give us a clue as to what we might be feeling. So for example, we would do something like a body scan or mindfulness where we're paying attention to different parts of the body.
