The War of the Bourbons

King philip the fifth was confirmed as king of spain, and he agreed to renounce all claims to the french throne. So the bourbons now controlled both france and spain. But they would not be united to secure this arrangement. However, the spanish crown had to parcel out most of its european possessions to the other powers.
