The Importance of Attachment Rates in Distributed Solar

Most people who have a solar and storage system today are not installing enough storage capacity to be able to power all of their consumption. You're getting advantages solar during the peak times, but then you still need capacity for non peak times because there's no battery with the solar. So I'd imagine traditional generation would create that base load. Is that possibly logical thinking?
