The big trick of the ego is to believe that there are causes and effects in the world. For example, giving causation to food or to money. To buy a spirit, what is that now to be against? Giving causation to the body and actions of the body. This is how the mind holds on to guilt. So as we begin to follow guidance, we realize that everything that we need comes through the guidance.
