The Importance of Demographic Forecasting

I find demography very interesting because it seems like one of the few really solid predictors of the future we have. How robust is demographic forecasting? Is it fairly robust? Do you have a good idea of what's going to happen? I mean, I imagine we do borrowing big events like Coronavirus or if you have quite an experience of explorers. But I think the real, so most of these things you can predict.
