When I meet a new character, the first thing I think of is what is the rhythm of this person? Maybe there's a rhythm sort of written in. If they are confident, well, maybe they don't need to make themselves sound really sweet. Or maybe they are sort of held and they're a lot bit quiet and things feel a little bit whispered. There was a really interesting documentary about Princess Diana. She's really fun to listen to because her voice changes as the years go by. And when you first meet her, it's almost like she's whispering and swallowing the words. And she doesn't really use her mouth very much. And it's very quiet and very reserved.
