What Drew You to the Taraverses Project?
The story of the taraverses or anx is almost a foundational story of islam in the sub continent, in many senses. One's being quite careful about avoiding any, just any kernel of poor historical truth, because what we have ar just way of representations. But if we look at the representations from that period, what are they saying? What are they telling us? So that that's a question that i kept in mind when i was doing my research.
