Liz's best friend, Brandy Hicks, had been walking down the road and had flagged down an officer off duty hours earlier. Liz however was not with her and all Brandy could tell the police was that she was missing and she didn't know where she was. This is like the beginning of an absolutely horrific movie. That's it's like you're trying to be as a parent, I can't even fathom this. Like put these poor people.
