The Diversity of Our Board
Bakari: The majority of the board are white men. We're trying to make our board even more diverse right now. There's a big opportunity for companies that are not currently owned by black people or minorities to buy those companies, get that certification and get access to all of these contract dollars just sitting there waiting. I'm working on sort of on the side of pulling together a small fund to go out and buy companies that in the lower middle market that we can convert and get MBE status or certification for.
