What Galvani Was Claiming Was Animal Electricity
There was another scientist, Italian scientist at the time Galvani, who was promoting a theory about electricity called animal electricity. And he claimed that in doing this and don't ask me to explain the details because I don't really understand his logic on this. He would get the frog head to move and he concluded from that that the frog leg itself was making electricity. But we now know that the frog legs were twitching because of these electrochemical reaction between the brass and the iron fence. There was no electricity being produced by the leg.
