The story of the great emperor janaka is a well known one in india. He was supposed to be a philosopher and enlightened, spiritually enlightened but lost his empire after being captured by an evil conqueror. Now he can't even get a drink of water in his own empire. The new despot has made him feel so bad that he crosses the border into another kingdom for help. But when he gets there no-one will give him anything because they are all under tyrannical rule.
